For their first four years in Philadelphia, the Sixers played regularly at the Philadelphia Arena and Civic Center-Convention Hall, with an intermittent game at The Palestra at the University of Pennsylvania. In the 1964-65 seasons, the 76ers obtain the well-known Wilt Chamberlain from the Warriors.
The 76ers play their home games by the side of the First Union Center in Philadelphia, PA. Eight 76ers have been chosen to the Hall of Fame together with Dolph Schayes, Wilt Chamberlein, and Julius Erving.
