The Milwaukee Bucks were formed in January 1968 when the NBA prizes a franchise to Milwaukee Professional Sports and Services, Inc. In October, the Bucks played their first NBA normal season game beside the Chicago Bulls before a Milwaukee Arena swarm of 8,467.
The team has made the NBA Finals only once since then (in 1974), but has usually been a competitor for the postseason in current years. In spite of the Bucks' success on the court, the club has struggled with audience at Milwaukee's aging Bradley Center.
